Raiders may be without starting CB Carlos Rogers The Oakland Raiders are expected to be without cornerback Carlos Rogers for Sunday's game against Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks. It's another blow to the NFL's 31st-ranked defense, which has been plagued by injuries and poor play. The winless Raiders have already lost three defensive starters - defensive end LaMarr Woodley, middle linebacker Nick Roach and strong safety Tyvon Branch ...

Injury Report: Nine Raiders Questionable For Seattle Game This Weekend Do the Oakland Raiders have nine bodies to spare on Halloween weekend for their game in Seattle against the defending champions? Of course not. But that's the spooky truth the Silver & Black faces as they prepare for the Seahawks this Sunday. The Raiders are winless and will need a lot of tricks and treats to capture their first victory of the season against Seattle.

Raiders vs. Seahawks preview The Seattle Seahawks return home this Sunday to CenturyLink Field to face a winless team in a game that should be an easy victory for the Seahawks. The Oakland Raiders are 0-7, just trying to find a way to get on the right track. The Seahawks are 4-3 after a victory in Carolina they hope ends some of the doubts surrounding the team the past two weeks. ESPN.com Raiders reporter Bill Williamson ...

Raiders-Seahawks Preview The Seattle Seahawks might have issues on and off the field, but whatever state they're in is better than that of the winless Oakland Raiders. Looking to build on a much-needed victory, the Seahawks try to hand the visiting Raiders a 14th consecutive defeat Sunday. Still grasping the effects of the Percy Harvin trade and dealing with reports of locker room division, Seattle (4-3) avoided a third ...

Oakland Raiders vs. Seattle Seahawks: Betting Odds, Analysis, NFL Pick The Oakland Raiders will be big underdogs when they visit the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday and remain the last winless team in the NFL following a 23-13 loss at Cleveland last week. The Raiders are 9-3 against the spread in their last 12 games as double-digit underdogs while the Seahawks are 12-4-1 ATS in their past 17 as double-digit home favorites since 2003.   Point Spread: Seahawks opened as ...

'Almost Unblockable' Khalil Mack Reason to Watch 0-7 Oakland Raiders Your mama never told you, but there is more than one way to watch a football game. By far the most common method is an unfocused view that allows your eye to gravitate toward the ball. You’re watching a team play and judging the result of that team play. There is another method usually reserved for a second viewing—like replays and breakdowns. You’re watching just a few key players and their ...

Oakland Raiders vs. Seattle Seahawks: Breaking Down Seattle's Game Plan The  Seattle Seahawks  had a not-so-inspiring 13-9 win over the  Carolina Panthers  over the weekend for the third time in as many years. Seattle's offense erred on three trips to the red zone and toiled to score just one touchdown in the game.  That Seattle's offense made a defense that had allowed 37-plus points in four of its last five games is a bad sign for an offense that appears to be ...

Mack making impact for Raiders even without sacks Khalil Mack has done just about everything the Oakland Raiders have asked of him his rookie season. The only thing lacking so far from Mack is something he was supposed to get frequently: a quarterback sack. Through seven games, Mack is still seeking his first sack despite being compared to pass rushing specialist Von Miller when he was drafted fifth overall in May. ''It's something that's kind ...

Shutdown Corner NFL Power Rankings: The Oakland Raiders' scary 0-16 question Shutdown Corner's post-Week 7 power rankings.

Oakland Raiders Can't Give Derek Carr a Pass for Offensive Struggles Quarterback Derek Carr is not the problem with the Oakland Raiders in 2014. In fact, he’s one of the few players the 0-7 Raiders can build around, but that actually creates a different issue for the franchise. The Raiders have to evaluate Carr without making his supporting cast the scapegoat for all of his problems. This is true now, and should continue to be true through next season no matter ...

Raiders select Kevin Boothe in round six
by SilverandBlack.com
April 30, 2006

In the sixth round, with the 176th overall selection, the Oakland Raiders selected Cornell offensive lineman Kevin Boothe.

A four-time All-Ivy League offensive lineman, Kevin Boothe was widely considered the best lineman from the Ivy League.
Boothe has experience playing at both right guard and right tackle, seeing action at right tackle throughout 2004. He also has logged game time at left tackle for Cornell.

Blessed with long arms, he has the ability to keep defenders at bay and he is considered to be a player who is raw but has a good amount of upside.
