Oakland Raiders linebacker Khalil Mack proving to be complete defensive player BEREA: Oakland Raiders outside linebacker Khalil Mack had his coming out party against an Ohio team last year and if the Browns aren’t careful, the rookie out of the University of Buffalo could show out in the Buckeye state again.

Raiders' Woodley has long-term biceps injury The Oakland Raiders signed LaMarr Woodley to be a defensive difference-maker. However, it appears the former Pittsburgh Steelers star's season will end prematurely for the winless Raiders.

Shutdown Corner NFL Power Rankings: The Oakland Raiders' scary 0-16 question Shutdown Corner's post-Week 7 power rankings.

Woodley, Young expected to be placed on IR Oakland Raiders cornerback DJ Hayden could be activated from the physically unable to perform list in time for Sunday's game in Cleveland. Hayden completed his second week of practice Friday but has yet to be fully cleared to play. The 12th overall pick in 2013, Hayden underwent foot surgery in the offseason - his fourth operation since suffering a near-fatal heart injury in college. Raiders ...

Oakland Raiders Have New Investor for Coliseum City The Oakland Raiders have a new investor for a sports and entertainment center which will be built around their home stadium, O.Co Coliseum.  The new investor is New City...

Injury Report: 4 Key Injuries For Raiders Defense This Week The last thing the 2014 Oakland Raiders need is more injuries to their defense, but that's what they get this week as they prepare to play the Cleveland Browns Sunday on the road. If the Silver & Black can't stop anyone's offense, they'll never win a game this year.

Raiders vs. Browns preview The Cleveland Browns face their second winless team in a row Sunday at 4:15 p.m. ET at FirstEnergy Stadium. Last Sunday in Jacksonville, the Browns took the Jaguars from the winless column, as the Jags completely outplayed the Browns. Now the Oakland Raiders come to Cleveland. Oakland rookie Derek Carr is the starting quarterback and the long-term answer, while Brian Hoyer is trying to right his ...

Raiders-Browns Preview Even though some Cleveland Browns fans were calling for Johnny Manziel following last week's loss, coach Mike Pettine isn't ready to turn things over to his first-year quarterback just yet. Fellow rookie Derek Carr is still trying to put it all together for the winless Oakland Raiders. Cleveland tries to hand the visiting Raiders a 13th consecutive loss as these last-place teams square off ...

Raiders fear LaMarr Woodley's biceps injury is serious ALAMEDA, Calif. -- The winless Oakland Raiders are getting more battered each week, and the latest casualty may be defensive end LaMarr Woodley. Woodley suffered a biceps injury Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Raiders interim coach Tony Sparano said Wednesday the injury "could be" serious. The Raiders continue to evaluate Woodley, and there is concern he could be out several weeks ...

Raiders hope to get Maurice Jones-Drew more involved ALAMEDA, Calif. – It certainly seems like Maurice Jones-Drew is out of the Oakland Raiders’ plan at running back. Jones-Drew, the Week 1 starter, who missed two games with a hand injury, hasn’t gotten much work. He had three carries for 6 yards last week against Arizona, and he has clearly fallen way behind Darren McFadden in the pecking order. He has 48 yards on 18 carries this season. Still ...

Raiders select Kevin Boothe in round six
by SilverandBlack.com
April 30, 2006

In the sixth round, with the 176th overall selection, the Oakland Raiders selected Cornell offensive lineman Kevin Boothe.

A four-time All-Ivy League offensive lineman, Kevin Boothe was widely considered the best lineman from the Ivy League.
Boothe has experience playing at both right guard and right tackle, seeing action at right tackle throughout 2004. He also has logged game time at left tackle for Cornell.

Blessed with long arms, he has the ability to keep defenders at bay and he is considered to be a player who is raw but has a good amount of upside.
