TELEVISION: This week's game will be televised on CBS with Bill Macatee and Solomon Wilcots calling the action. If sold out 72 hours in advance, the game will air in the Bay Area on KPIX Channel 5 and air in Sacramento on KOVR Channel 13. RADIO: KSFO 560 AM is the Raiders flagship station for the multi-state Raiders Radio Network. Greg Papa and former Raiders player, assistant and head coach Tom Flores will man the booth for the 10th straight year. The pregame and postgame shows feature Raider Legends George Atkinson and David Humm along with KGO's Rich Walcoff. SPANISH RADIO: Univision radio station KLOK 1170 AM serves as the team's official flagship station for The Oakland Raiders Spanish radio broadcasts. Armando Botello and Ramon Diaz handle announcing duties. Bay Area radio personality Victor Zaragoza is the sideline reporter. SERIES: The Oakland Raiders and Houston have only met once in Texans franchise history, in 2004, with the Texans leading the series 1-0. RAIDERS RANK FIRST IN NFL IN PASS DEFENSE The Raiders' defense is allowing 156.5 passing yards per game, which ranks first in the National Football League. Should that figure hold for the season, it would be the Silver and Black's best mark since 1977 (157.8). LAST TIME: The Oakland Raiders lost to the Houston Texans 30-17 on October 3, 2004 at Reliant Stadium. Raiders RB Amos Zereoue ran the ball 14 times for 117 yards and 2 TDs and WR Ronald Curry caught five passes for 69 yards. The Texans scored the first points of the game, getting a field goal from 46 yards out to go up 3-0 with 3:09 left in the 1st quarter. The Raiders answered when Sebastian Janikowski's 50-yard field goal attempt sailed through the uprights tying the score at 3-3 with: 42 left in the 1st quarter. Key plays on the drive included QB Kerry Collins finding TE Courtney Anderson for a gain of 22 to the Texans 46 and WR Ronald Curry catching a Collins pass for a 16-yard gain to the Texans 35. The Texans were credited with a sack and fumble recovery for a touchdown giving the Houston a 10-3 lead with 11:41 left in the 2nd quarter. The Raiders scored a touchdown in the second quarter on Zereoue's 55-yard scamper to tie the game at 10 with 7:02 remaining before halftime. Houston went up 17-10 with 3:25 left in the 2nd quarter and the Raiders answered again to tie the score at 17 when Zereoue finished the drive with a 3-yard touchdown run to tie the game at 17 with: 47 left to play in the first half. During that scoring drive, Zereoue ripped off an 18-yard gain to the Texans 14-yard line and on 3rd and 7, Collins hit WR Jerry Porter for a gain for 7 and a first down. Houston went up 20-17 with 3:03 left in the 3rd quarter after getting a field goal, then upped their lead to 27-17 with 14:48 left in the game after scoring a touchdown. Houston got a late field goal to make the score 30-17.
